Richard has over 25 years of experience working with youth and families in schools, non-profits, and juvenile offender programs. He holds a Master's in Counseling, currently teachers Parent Education classes for Multnomah Family Court, and has facilitated parenting groups in many diverse settings. As a School Counselor, he has worked at every grade level (K-12). He brings a dynamic, fun, and experiential approach to presentations. As a divorced parent, Richard has "been there" co-parenting great kids. In addition to being an Oregon Registry Master Trainer, he is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and a Class Facilitator for the nationally recognized Nurturing Parenting Programs. He is an Adjunct Faculty Member at Mt. Hood Community College. Richard loves integrating a passion for nature and outdoor play into learning.
