Greetings Parents & Couples,
You do your best as a parent—and as a couple—but some days can still feel overwhelming. Life can be incredibly joyful or completely exhausting, and often both on the same day!
My approach is direct, practical, and relatable. I try to cut through the clinical jargon and focus on real-life tools you can actually use, especially during stressful everyday moments like parenting disagreements, communication breakdowns, or co-parenting challenges. Together, we identify where you are, where you want to go, and the specific skills that can help you get there.
The goal: creating healthier relationships, more balance, and a greater sense of harmony (together, separated, divorced, or as single parents).
I’m a Portland, Oregon-based Parent Educator, Coach, and Counselor with more than 25 years of experience helping parents, couples, and families navigate challenges with greater confidence and less conflict. Whether you’re working on cooperative co-parenting, strengthening your relationship as a couple, or finding your footing as a sole parent, I bring a collaborative, coaching-oriented style focused on practical growth and meaningful progress.
My work incorporates goal setting, positive psychology, mindfulness, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and experiential “homework” designed to create change outside the session—not just during it.
I also develop engaging workshops for parents and educators, with presentations certified through the Oregon Registry and Washington MERIT systems for clock-hour credit.
